Over 30 years as a fully-residential conference, we understand the vital role of a venue in providing atmosphere, quality, warmth and intimacy that goes far beyond simply providing meeting rooms and catering, into a special flexibility to go ‘off-script’ to help us put the “Confer” into “Conference”.
In October 2002 (our 9th COSAC) Killashee Hotel hosted our event for the first time in what has become a close bond between COSAC and the venue. Now, more than twenty years later, the environment created for us by Killashee Hotel is second to none. They play a hands-on role and provide a proactive and positive contribution to the organisation of COSAC with countless little personal touches, that even if individually unnoticed by the untrained eye, accumulate into an unrivalled conference experience.
It is difficult to imagine being able to create such a conducive atmosphere anywhere else. Over the years, the management and staff at Killashee have been subjected to our whims, sometimes last-second ideas, and unusual requests. Without fail they have not only delivered but done so with an unfailing attention to detail and a supportive approach that I challenge any conference venue, anywhere, to replicate.
Located just 2KM outside the town of Naas in Kildare, 30KM from Dublin, our venue delivers a World-class conference facility with genuinely exceptional dining experiences. It has a truly enchanted setting, with a wonderfully rich history from the Victorian grandeur of the Original House to the acres of splendid gardens and gloriously wild woodland and trails. Those delegates wishing to work-out or relax in the few hours of non-COSAC time, can make use of Killashee’s state of the art gym, Leisure Club with 25 metre swimming pool & Award- Winning Spa.
I very much look forward to welcoming you to Killashee Hotel for our 30th Anniversary conference.
David Lynas, COSAC Chairman
